Meet Cindy

Cindy Gleason is a financial coach with the heart of a teacher. She founded her financial coaching and counseling practice in March 2009 to share with others the peace of mind that comes from taking control of your money and living with a plan for the future. Cindy received her training and certification from The Lampo Group ... the nationally recognized financial expert, radio show host, and best selling author Dave Ramsey. Today, Cindy works alongside her clients to teach the principles that Dave discusses daily on his radio show.

Cindy has an entrepreneurial spirit and her career path has been diverse: she co-owned Footloose, a children's shoe store in Snider Plaza for eight years. She later became interested in the mental health field through dealing with the chemical dependency issues of one of her sons.

Cindy eventually left retail to spend the next twelve years as Community Relations Coordinator and Office Manager for Solutions, a chemical dependency treatment center. Cindy's experience as a small business owner, as a long time, active member of the twelve step community, twelve years working in a therapeutic setting, and finally, successfully being a good steward of her own money has prepared her for the work she loves. "I have discovered that I have a passion for financial peace, and for teaching others the steps that got me here!"

Cindy believes in the importance of balance in life between God, family, and work. Living life with one area stronger or weaker than the others leaves you off balance. Personal finance has a significant impact on all three areas. Learning to control your money makes balance possible by removing the biggest distraction in your life.

Cindy lives in Dallas and is the proud mother of two young adult sons. She has been a small group leader of Financial Peace classes, and has volunteered her services at Serenity Recovery Home, providing financial counseling and coaching to newly recovering addicts/alcoholics. Dedicated to sharing with others the blessings that God has bestowed on her, Cindy finds financial coaching a perfect fit for working in her strengths of mentoring, encouraging, planning, organizing, and continuing the process of being a good steward.
